Making a referral to Newham Talking Therapies is a simple process. Whether you are a healthcare professional, community organisation, or an individual seeking support, we are here to help. 

You must live in the borough of Newham or have a registered GP in Newham.

Individual Referrals

If you are an individual seeking therapy, please follow these steps

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our friendly team via phone or email to express your interest in our service

  2. Initial Assessment: We will conduct an initial assessment to better understand your needs and determine the most suitable therapy option. 

  3. Appointment Scheduling: Once the assessment is complete, we will work with you to schedule an appointment with one of our therapists

Your GP can offer advice on how talking therapies can help. He or she can also contact us on your behalf to refer you for treatment.

Health Professional Referrals

If you are a health professional or a organisation referring a client, please use the link and fill out our Health Professional Referral Form. 

We accept referrals for those aged over 18 only. We do not have an upper age limit and we actively encourage referrals for those over 65's. However, older adults with age-related issues (e.g. dementia) should be referred to Mental Health Care for Older People.
